A healthy 2JZ-GTE Supra can realistically return around 5–7 km/L in heavy city traffic, 8–10 km/L on highways and approximately 6–8 km/L combined. Hard acceleration, turbo boost, modified engines, wide tyres and frequent AC use can push consumption significantly lower. In central Dhaka traffic, expecting modern Toyota sedan fuel economy would be unrealistic.

Check the 2JZ-GTE engine, compression, turbochargers, cooling system, head gasket, oil pressure, transmission, clutch, differential, suspension, brakes and chassis. Inspect carefully for accident repairs, rust and poorly executed modifications. On modified cars, verify the ECU, injectors, fuel pump, turbo setup, intercooler, exhaust, wiring and cooling system. For a collector-quality car, originality and documentation can be nearly as important as mechanical condition.
