Toyota Yaris hybrid price in Bangladesh starts from around Tk 23 -35 lakh. price can vary according to model year, grade, specification, import route, taxes and equipment.
The latest Yaris Hybrid uses a 1.5L M15A-FXE engine with an electric hybrid system and produces 116 PS of total system output. Toyota's updated hybrid system uses an electric motor capable of up to 185 Nm and can accelerate the Yaris to 100 km/h in approximately 9.2 seconds. ABS, brake assist, electronic brake-force distribution and stability control provide predictable braking and handling.
For Bangladesh driving, approximately 18–24 km/L in city traffic and around 23–28 km/L on highways is a realistic target depending on traffic, AC use, driving style, tyre pressure and road conditions.
The latest Japanese range includes Hybrid U, Hybrid G and Hybrid Z grades, with equipment and drivetrain varying by specification. Hybrid U focuses more strongly on efficiency and value, Hybrid G adds more comfort and equipment, while Hybrid Z provides the more premium specification with additional styling, technology and convenience features. E-Four AWD is also available on selected grades.
Yes, particularly for paved city roads. The compact size is excellent for Dhaka traffic and narrow streets, while the suspension provides reasonable everyday comfort. The main limitation is ground clearance: FWD versions are around 145 mm, although selected E-Four versions have around 160 mm. Large speed breakers and deep potholes therefore require care.
Yes. City driving is where the Yaris makes the most sense. The electric motor provides smooth low-speed acceleration, regenerative braking recovers energy during deceleration, and the e-CVT keeps the drivetrain smooth in stop-and-go traffic. Its compact 3.95-metre body and approximately 5.1-metre turning radius also make parking and U-turns easy in crowded Dhaka streets.
Routine maintenance should be relatively manageable because Toyota's common service parts are widely available in Bangladesh. Oil, filters, tyres, brakes and suspension components represent the normal running costs. Hybrid-specific components and the traction battery are more specialized, so unexpected hybrid-system repairs can cost considerably more than ordinary servicing. Regular inspection and proper hybrid-system maintenance are important.
Check the chassis/VIN, model year, exact Hybrid grade, auction sheet where applicable, mileage, accident history, service history and hybrid battery condition. Also inspect the engine, e-CVT operation, suspension, brakes, tyres, AC, infotainment system, cameras, parking sensors and Toyota Safety Sense functions. Confirm that the actual equipment matches the advertised grade.
The main disadvantages are limited rear-seat space, a relatively small 286-litre boot, modest ground clearance on FWD versions and the higher purchase price associated with newer imported Hybrid grades. The Yaris is designed primarily as a compact urban car, so it does not provide the rear-seat space or luggage capacity of a larger family sedan or MPV.
The latest Yaris Sedan is designed around the needs of compact-sedan users, with good fuel economy, 175 mm Hybrid ground clearance, modern safety technology, comfortable city driving and Toyota's established hybrid technology. The combination is particularly relevant to Dhaka's traffic and daily commuting, while the sedan body provides useful boot space for family travel.
