Toyota Camry XLE Hybrid Specifications

Expect around 13–16 km/L in heavy Dhaka traffic, 16–18 km/L in normal city driving and 19–22 km/L on highways, with around 18 km/L mixed as a sensible CarHub reference.

FWD XLE Hybrid produces 225 hp net combined system output from its 2.5L hybrid powertrain. Toyota pairs the engine and electric motor with an electronically controlled e-CVT.

Acceleration to 100 km/h is around 7.2 seconds under regional testing, making the latest Camry considerably quicker than its relaxed appearance suggests.

The car uses four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, brake assist, electronic brakeforce distribution and regenerative braking. The combination provides strong, smooth stopping performance, particularly in normal city driving.

XLE is one of the comfort-focused grades and includes a 12.3-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia touchscreen, 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, leather-and-microfiber-trimmed heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless charging, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Camry is excellent on Dhaka's paved roads, expressways and major highways, where its quiet cabin, comfortable suspension and stable chassis work extremely well.

The main problem is ground clearance. At roughly 135–137 mm, the XLE Hybrid is low for Bangladesh's more aggressive speed breakers, deep potholes and broken roads.

You should slow down significantly over large speed breakers and avoid deep road depressions. Its nearly 4.92-metre length also makes narrow lanes and crowded parking areas more difficult.

Yes, particularly in heavy traffic. The hybrid system can use electric power at low speeds and during suitable conditions, reducing the amount of time the petrol engine needs to run.

This makes the XLE Hybrid especially comfortable in Dhaka stop-and-go traffic. The e-CVT is extremely smooth, the cabin is quiet and the automatic climate control works continuously without the drivetrain feeling busy.

The main disadvantages are the car's large dimensions and low ground clearance. If you frequently drive through narrow lanes or poorly maintained roads, you need to be careful.

Routine maintenance should be budgeted at roughly Tk 40,000–80,000 per year, excluding fuel, insurance, tires and major unexpected repairs.

Oil and filter servicing can commonly fall around Tk 8,000–15,000, depending on oil grade, filters and workshop.

Check the hybrid battery health, engine, inverter, e-CVT/hybrid transaxle, cooling system, suspension, brakes, tires, AC and electronics.

Also test the Toyota Safety Sense systems, cameras, parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control and infotainment.

Inspect the chassis and underbody carefully for accident or flood damage. Check the auction sheet and import documentation where available.

For a reconditioned Camry, a professional hybrid-system diagnostic test is particularly important because battery condition can significantly affect future ownership costs.

The biggest disadvantages are high purchase price, low ground clearance, large dimensions and potentially expensive hybrid-system repairs.

The XLE is also considerably more expensive in Bangladesh than smaller Toyota hybrids. Its nearly 4.92-metre length can be inconvenient in narrow Dhaka streets and tight parking areas.

The low ride height is another genuine issue on Bangladesh roads. Tall speed breakers and deep potholes require careful driving.

Yes. The current XLE has wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto.
