Toyota Voxy Hybrid S-Z

The 1.8L 2ZR-FXE hybrid produces 98 PS from the petrol engine, while the electric motor adds strong low-speed torque. The complete hybrid system is commonly rated around 138–140 PS, with 0–100 km/h taking approximately 9.6 seconds. It is tuned more for smooth family driving and efficient acceleration than aggressive performance

In Bangladesh, a realistic expectation is around 15–17 km/L in heavy city traffic, 19–21 km/L on highways, and approximately 17–19 km/L combined with regular air-conditioning use.

Yes, Voxy is available in all 3 conditions mostly, so you can find your preferred condition within budget.

Yes, particularly for Dhaka city driving, family transportation and highway travel. Its compact 1,730-mm width makes it easier to manage than larger luxury MPVs, while the 2,850-mm wheelbase provides excellent cabin space. However, the approximately 140-mm ground clearance means you should approach large speed breakers, broken roads and deep potholes carefully.

Yes. The hybrid powertrain is particularly comfortable in Dhaka traffic, where frequent low-speed acceleration allows the electric motor to reduce petrol-engine workload. The E-CVT is smooth, the steering is light and the 5.5-metre turning radius makes parking and manoeuvring relatively easy for a seven-seat MPV.

Routine maintenance is generally manageable because Toyota parts and hybrid-service knowledge are widely available, but a newer imported Voxy can cost more to maintain than a common Corolla or Axio. A sensible routine-maintenance budget is around ৳20,000–35,000 per year, excluding major repairs, tyres and accident damage. For an older or high-mileage imported car, keeping an additional repair reserve is sensible.

Check the Japanese auction sheet, chassis number, auction history, mileage, accident/repair history, hybrid battery condition, inverter, engine, E-CVT system, suspension, AC, power sliding doors, power tailgate, 360 camera, sensors and electronics. Also confirm whether features such as BSM, panoramic camera, HUD, 10.5-inch navigation and rear entertainment are genuine factory equipment or aftermarket additions.

The main disadvantages are low ground clearance, high Bangladesh purchase price and expensive premium equipment when damaged. Its third-row cargo area is also limited when all seven seats are occupied. Because most examples are Japanese imports, specification can vary considerably, so two Voxy S-Z cars from the same model year may have different optional equipment.
