Toyota Tundra price in Bangladesh is estimated at around Tk 90 lakh –1.30 crore for a brand-new model, depending on trim, engine, importer, specification and final landed cost. Higher-end versions such as the TRD Pro and Capstone can cost substantially more
latest 3.4L twin-turbo V6 produces 389 hp and 650 Nm, while the i-FORCE MAX hybrid reaches 437 hp and 790 Nm. The 10-speed automatic transmission provides strong acceleration, and a 0–100 km/h time of roughly 6.0–6.5 seconds is realistic for the 389-hp configuration. Four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, EBD, Brake Assist and stability control provide strong stopping capability.
r Bangladesh driving, expect approximately 6–7 km/L in city traffic, 9–10 km/L on highways and around 7–8 km/L combined for the petrol twin-turbo V6. Dhaka traffic, frequent AC use, heavy acceleration and 4WD operation can reduce fuel economy further.
Yes, Tundra is available as brand new and used mostly
The current range includes SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794 Edition, TRD Pro and Capstone, with different equipment and powertrain combinations. SR is the entry-level work-focused version, SR5 adds useful equipment, Limited brings significantly more comfort and technology, while TRD Pro is designed around off-road use. Platinum, 1794 Edition and Capstone focus more heavily on luxury.
Tundra's approximately 236mm ground clearance, strong chassis and available 4WD make it capable on broken roads, mud and rough terrain. However, its roughly six-metre length and more than two-metre width are significant disadvantages in Dhaka's narrow streets, crowded markets and tight parking areas. It is much easier to use on highways and open roads than in congested urban areas.
Tundra is comfortable and powerful enough for city driving, but its large size is the main challenge. At more than two metres wide and nearly six metres long, parking and manoeuvring through narrow Dhaka streets require considerably more space than a Toyota Fortuner or Hilux. The cameras, parking sensors and available 360-degree view can make low-speed manoeuvring easier.
Routine servicing is more expensive than smaller Toyota models because the Tundra has a 3.4L twin-turbo V6, large tyres, greater oil capacity and heavier-duty components. A reasonable annual routine-maintenance budget can be around ৳40,000–80,000, excluding fuel, tyres, insurance and major repairs. Imported parts and specialist work can make unexpected repairs considerably more expensive.
Check the VIN, manufacturing date, exact trim, engine, 4WD system, warranty, import documents and registration eligibility. Confirm that the vehicle's US-market specification matches the equipment advertised by the importer. Test the infotainment, cameras, sensors, AC, power seats, windows, tailgate, safety systems and connected features before accepting delivery. Also confirm parts and after-sales support in Bangladesh.
The biggest disadvantages in Bangladesh are high fuel consumption, large dimensions, expensive import costs and limited local availability. Its size can make Dhaka driving inconvenient, while replacement parts and specialised repairs can cost significantly more than for locally common Toyota models. The twin-turbo V6 also has more mechanical complexity than Toyota's smaller naturally aspirated engines.
