The Toyota Raize 1.0 Turbo price in Bangladesh generally ranges from around ৳26 lakh to ৳45 lakh. Older units are normally found toward the lower end, while newer models and higher grades can cost substantially more. Price depends on model year, auction grade, mileage, condition, grade, equipment and importer.
The Toyota Raize 1.0 Turbo uses a 996cc 1KR-VET three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine producing 98 PS and 140 Nm. The turbo provides strong low- and mid-range response for such a small engine, while the CVT keeps acceleration smooth in city traffic. The 0–100 km/h time is approximately 10.5 seconds, depending on vehicle condition, road surface and test conditions. The braking system uses ventilated discs at the front and leading-trailing drum brakes at the rear, supported by ABS, EBD and Brake Assist. Toyota does not publish an official braking-distance figure for the Raize, so stopping distance varies with tyres, road surface, load and driver input.
A Toyota Raize 1.0 Turbo can realistically return around 12–14 km/L in city driving, 16–18 km/L on highways and approximately 14–16 km/L combined under normal Bangladesh conditions. Heavy Dhaka traffic, frequent air-conditioning use, passengers, tyre pressure and aggressive acceleration can reduce the actual mileage.
Yes, Raize is available in all 3 conditions mostly, so you can find your preferred condition within budget.
The 1.0 Turbo is available in several grades, including G, GR Sport and GR Sport TSS, with manual and CVT configurations depending on market and model year. The 1.0T G CVT is suitable for buyers who want the turbo engine with easy automatic driving. GR Sport is aimed at buyers who want sportier exterior and interior styling, while GR Sport TSS adds Toyota Safety Sense and additional driver-assistance technology. For everyday Dhaka driving, the G CVT provides the core turbocharged Raize experience, while higher grades offer more equipment.
Yes. The Raize is particularly practical for Bangladesh because its 200mm ground clearance, compact dimensions and SUV seating position work well on Dhaka streets, speed breakers and moderately uneven roads. Its 4,030mm length also makes it easier to manoeuvre through narrow urban roads and crowded parking areas. However, 17-inch wheels on higher grades can feel less comfortable over large potholes, and drivers should still slow down over broken roads and deep drainage covers. For normal paved city roads and highways, the Raize is well suited to Bangladesh.
Yes. The 1.0L turbo engine is particularly useful in city traffic because the 140 Nm torque arrives from 2,400–4,000 rpm, giving the small SUV enough response for overtaking, merging and climbing flyovers. The CVT is smooth during stop-and-go driving, while the compact body makes parking and U-turns easier in Dhaka. Fuel economy will depend heavily on congestion and air-conditioning use. In severe traffic, expecting around 12–13 km/L is more realistic than expecting the official Japanese test figure.
Routine maintenance for a Toyota Raize 1.0 Turbo is generally manageable. A normal engine-oil and filter service can cost approximately ৳5,000–8,000, depending on oil grade, filters and workshop. A reasonable annual routine-maintenance budget is around ৳15,000–30,000, excluding tyres, insurance and major repairs. For an older reconditioned Raize, keeping an additional ৳30,000–50,000 reserve is sensible for suspension, brakes, battery, tyres or unexpected repairs. Turbo and imported electronic components can cost more when replacement is required.
Check the Japanese auction sheet, chassis number, auction grade, mileage and accident history first. Then inspect the 1KR-VET engine for oil leaks, abnormal smoke, unusual vibration and turbo performance. Check the CVT for smooth engagement, hesitation or abnormal noise. Inspect suspension components, steering, brakes, tyres, AC and electrical systems. Test the reverse camera, parking sensors and all driver-assistance systems fitted to the specific car. Also inspect the underside for accident repair and confirm that the actual grade and equipment match the seller's description.
The biggest disadvantages are the three-cylinder engine character, firm ride over poor roads and limited rear-seat width. Although the turbo engine provides good performance, it can produce more vibration than a four-cylinder engine at idle. The compact cabin is practical but not particularly spacious for five adults. Higher grades with large wheels can also be less forgiving over potholes. Finally, because many Raizes in Bangladesh are imported reconditioned vehicles, certain body panels, electronic components and grade-specific parts may cost more than parts for common Toyota sedans.
