The 2.5L Mark X 250G uses a 4GR-FSE V6 producing 215 hp and 260 Nm with a 6-speed automatic transmission and RWD. 0–100 km/h is approximately 8 seconds, depending on vehicle condition and testing conditions. The car uses ventilated disc brakes at the front and disc brakes at the rear, with ABS and Brake Assist. Its stopping performance is strong for its era, but exact braking distance depends on tyres, road surface and brake condition.

A healthy 2.5L Mark X generally returns around 7–8.5 km/L in Dhaka-style city driving, 10–12 km/L on highways and 8–10 km/L combined. Heavy traffic, prolonged idling, air-conditioning, aggressive acceleration and poor engine condition can reduce city mileage considerably.

Common grades include 250G, 250G F Package, 250G L Package, 250G S Package, 250G Premium and 250G Smart Edition, while the larger-engine range includes 300G variants. The 250G is suitable for buyers wanting the V6 experience without moving to the 3.0L engine. L Package adds comfort-oriented equipment, S Package adds sportier equipment, while higher Premium and Smart Edition cars can offer additional technology and convenience features. Yes, particularly for Dhaka and major highway driving, but its 155 mm ground clearance requires care around tall speed breakers, deep potholes and broken roads. The long 2,850 mm wheelbase gives the Mark X excellent highway stability and ride comfort, while rear-wheel drive gives it a more engaging driving character. It is less suitable for regularly driving on severely damaged rural roads where a higher-clearance vehicle would be easier to live with.

The Mark X is comfortable in the city, but it is not as economical as a 1.5L Toyota sedan. The 2.5L V6 feels effortless when joining traffic and overtaking, while the automatic gearbox makes Dhaka traffic easy to manage. However, frequent stop-and-go traffic, long idling and constant AC use can push fuel consumption toward the lower end of the expected range. Its 4.73-metre length also requires more parking space than an Allion or Axio.

For a healthy car, routine servicing can typically be budgeted around Tk 5,000–10,000 per service, depending on oil, filters and workshop. A realistic annual routine-maintenance budget is around Tk 25,000–40,000, excluding fuel, insurance and major repairs. Because these cars are now relatively old, keeping Tk 50,000–80,000 annually as a repair reserve is more sensible. Suspension components, engine seals, cooling-system parts, ignition components, tyres and electrical equipment can create additional costs.

Check the 4GR-FSE engine, automatic transmission, cooling system, suspension, steering rack, brakes, AC, electrical equipment and underbody. Inspect for accident repairs, chassis damage, rust, oil leaks, overheating and unusual V6 noises. Check transmission shifts from cold and when fully warmed up. Scan the ECU for stored faults, inspect engine oil condition and verify mileage through available records. On Bangladesh roads, pay particular attention to suspension wear and the condition of the low-clearance underbody.

The biggest disadvantages are fuel consumption, low ground clearance, aging safety technology and expensive age-related repairs. The 2.5L V6 is much thirstier than smaller Toyota sedans, while the 155 mm clearance requires care on Bangladesh speed breakers. Factory infotainment and connectivity are also outdated compared with modern cars, and many Bangladesh-market cars now have aftermarket screens or electrical modifications.
