A realistic current used-market range is approximately Tk 20–42 lakh for a clean LiteAce GL vehicle. prices vary according to year, registration, condition, mileage
This generation is S403 of Toyota LiteAce, available from 2020 - present.
The LiteAce GL uses Toyota's 1.5L 3SZ-VE four-cylinder petrol engine, producing 97 hp at 6,000 rpm and 134 Nm at 4,400 rpm. It is naturally aspirated and uses electronic fuel injection.
Expect approximately 8–10 km/L in city traffic, 11–13 km/L on highways and 9–11 km/L combined. Heavy Dhaka traffic, AC use, cargo weight and CNG conversion can reduce real-world mileage.
The 1.5L 3SZ-VE produces 97 hp and 134 Nm, so the LiteAce GL is adequate for urban commercial work but not quick. A realistic 0–100 km/h estimate is around 15–17 seconds depending on load and road conditions.
The factory braking system uses ventilated front discs and rear leading-trailing drum brakes, with ABS available.
Yes, particularly for Dhaka delivery work, small businesses, markets and urban cargo transportation. Its 1,665mm width and 4.7m turning radius make it relatively easy to manoeuvre through narrow roads.
The 175mm ground clearance is reasonable for normal Bangladesh roads, although heavily loaded vehicles should approach large speed breakers and broken roads carefully.
Yes. This is arguably where the LiteAce GL makes the most sense. The compact body, high driving position and short turning radius make it easier to manoeuvre around Dhaka's crowded markets, narrow lanes and delivery areas than larger commercial vans.
The limitation is the 1.5L engine. With a heavy cargo load and AC operating continuously, acceleration becomes slow.
For a healthy vehicle, routine maintenance can reasonably be budgeted around Tk 15,000–30,000 per year, excluding fuel, tyres and major repairs.
Because most Bangladesh-market LiteAce vehicles are already used and may have commercial mileage, keeping approximately Tk 30,000–50,000 annually as a repair reserve is more sensible.
Check the 3SZ-VE engine, 4-speed automatic transmission, cooling system, AC, steering, suspension, brakes, chassis, cargo floor, sliding doors, body rust and electrical system.
If the vehicle has been used commercially, pay particular attention to the rear suspension, wheel bearings, gearbox behaviour and chassis condition. Also verify the chassis number, registration and service history.
The main weaknesses are modest 1.5L performance, basic interior equipment, limited factory safety technology and no modern ADAS.
The GL is also fundamentally a commercial vehicle, so buyers looking for passenger-car comfort, quietness and premium equipment may find it too basic.
