The expected Toyota Hilux Z Adventure price in Bangladesh is around Tk 72–80 lakh. Price depends on auction/export price, shipping, customs and taxes, registration, mileage, condition, accessories and dealer margin.
The latest Toyota Hilux Z Adventure uses a 2,754cc 1GD-FTV four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine producing 204 PS and 500 Nm. It is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and part-time 4WD. The huge 500 Nm torque output gives it strong acceleration and excellent pulling ability. Estimated 0–100 km/h acceleration is approximately 10.5–11.5 seconds, depending on road conditions, fuel, load and testing method.
For normal Bangladesh conditions, expect around 7–9 km/L in city traffic, 10–12 km/L on highways and approximately 8.5–10.5 km/L combined. Dhaka congestion, prolonged idling, air-conditioner use, heavy loads and aggressive acceleration can reduce fuel economy considerably. Toyota's official Japanese WLTC combined figure is 11.9 km/L, but Bangladesh real-world mileage should be lower and is more relevant for local buyers.
Yes. The Toyota Hilux Z Adventure uses a part-time 4WD system with high- and low-range capability. It is designed for difficult surfaces including mud, loose gravel, steep roads and rough rural terrain. The latest Hilux also has Active Traction Control and Multi-Terrain Select-related technology to help maintain traction when individual wheels begin losing grip. A rear differential lock further improves its capability in demanding conditions.
The Hilux Z Adventure is particularly well suited to Bangladesh buyers who frequently drive outside major cities. Its 215 mm ground clearance, ladder-frame chassis, 4WD system and 500 Nm diesel torque make it useful on broken rural roads, muddy surfaces, construction routes and long highway journeys. It is less convenient inside central Dhaka because the vehicle is more than 5.3 metres long and nearly 1.9 metres wide. Parking and narrow roads require more care.
Routine maintenance is manageable because Toyota diesel engines and Hilux components are familiar to Bangladeshi workshops, but the Z Adventure is significantly more expensive to maintain than a normal Toyota sedan. Oil, filters, brakes and tyres are larger and costlier. Owners should also budget for 4WD components, suspension parts, electronic sensors and diesel emissions-related equipment. For a fresh imported example, using genuine or high-quality parts and maintaining the 1GD-FTV properly is particularly important.
The Hilux Z Adventure has a comprehensive modern safety package including Toyota Safety Sense, pre-collision safety, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane tracing assistance, adaptive cruise control, automatic high beam, traffic-sign recognition, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic assistance. It also has multiple airbags, ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, stability control, traction control, hill-start assistance, hill-descent assistance, TPMS, ISOFIX and a 360-degree/panoramic camera system.
First verify the auction sheet, chassis number, export certificate, manufacturing date, auction grade and mileage history. Then inspect the 1GD-FTV engine, turbocharger, automatic transmission, DPF/emissions system, 4WD transfer case, differential, suspension, steering, brakes and underbody. Check for flood damage, accident repairs and chassis deformation. Because the Z Adventure contains extensive electronics, test every camera, ADAS function, infotainment feature, wireless charger, connected function and sensor before completing the purchase.
The Hilux Z Adventure is aimed at buyers who specifically want a premium modern 4WD pickup with strong diesel torque, substantial cargo capability, advanced safety and Toyota durability. It makes particular sense for long-distance travel, rural roads, business use, outdoor activities and buyers who genuinely need a pickup. The major consideration is its expected Bangladesh price of around Tk 1.40–1.60 crore. At that level, buyers should carefully compare actual landed cost, equipment, condition and alternative 4WD pickups before purchasing.
