The Equipment You Actually Use
The Aqua X focuses on useful equipment rather than luxury extras.
Depending on model year and specification, you get automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows, smart key entry, push-button starting, digital instrumentation, Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity.
Toyota's current X also retains cruise control and full-auto air-conditioning as standard equipment.
Infotainment and Smartphone Connectivity
The infotainment system varies across production years.
Later cars can receive Toyota's display-audio systems with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while 8-inch and larger 10.5-inch displays are available depending on equipment.
That is particularly useful in Bangladesh because you can use familiar navigation and music applications rather than relying exclusively on Japanese-market navigation.
The X does not give you the same premium interior equipment as the Z, but the technology that matters for everyday driving is still available.
Safety Technology Is the Big Upgrade
The biggest reason to choose the second-generation Aqua over an older Aqua is not the screen.
It is the safety technology.
Toyota Safety Sense provides pre-collision assistance, lane-departure/lane-tracing functions, adaptive radar cruise control, automatic high beam and road-sign assistance depending on specification.
BSM, rear cross-traffic assistance and panoramic-view monitoring can be added depending on year and equipment. Toyota explicitly notes that these systems can vary by grade and option.
What Is Missing
The X does not provide the premium equipment of the Z.
You generally do not get leather upholstery, factory alloy wheels, luxury seating or the full collection of optional parking technology as standard.
But that is the point of the X.
It provides the fundamentals without forcing you to pay for equipment you may never use.
