Supra Mk5 combines performance-focused hardware with enough technology to make everyday driving comfortable. Depending on model year and grade, you get features such as automatic climate control, power-adjustable seats, keyless entry, push-button start, cruise control, parking sensors, navigation, touchscreen infotainment, Bluetooth, USB connectivity and premium audio.
The infotainment system is particularly useful because the Supra does not force you to choose between old-school driving enjoyment and modern connectivity. Smartphone integration, touchscreen controls and digital displays make daily driving considerably easier. Toyota's Japanese equipment information also confirms navigation, Bluetooth, USB connectivity and premium JBL audio on relevant specifications.
Safety technology is another strong point. Blind-spot monitoring, lane-departure assistance, pre-collision safety, adaptive cruise control and adaptive high-beam technology are available within the Mk5 safety package.
What stands out, however, is what the Supra does not try to be. It does not bombard you with family-car gadgets, huge screens or unnecessary luxury equipment. The important technology is there, but the car remains centred around driving.
For Bangladesh, parking sensors, rear-camera assistance, automatic climate control, smartphone connectivity and cruise control are particularly useful. A 360-degree camera, greater storage and more ground clearance would make ownership easier, but those additions would not change the fundamental character of the car.
