LE, XLE and Limited: choose your flavour of sensible
The 2.5L Grand Highlander Hybrid is available in several grades, with the core choices being Hybrid LE, Hybrid XLE and Hybrid Limited, alongside special editions depending on model year.
The Hybrid LE is the value option. It provides the 245-hp hybrid system, 18-inch wheels, three-zone climate control, Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, the 12.3-inch multimedia system and seating for up to eight with the appropriate configuration. It is the grade I would recommend to buyers who care about efficiency and practicality more than luxury.
The Hybrid XLE is arguably the sweet spot. It adds more comfort and convenience equipment, SofTex seating, wireless charging and other upgrades while retaining excellent hybrid efficiency. The FWD XLE is officially rated at 37 mpg combined, while AWD is rated at 34 mpg combined.
Then comes the Hybrid Limited, which adds 20-inch wheels, leather-trimmed seating, heated second-row seats, JBL 11-speaker audio, a heated steering wheel, hands-free power liftgate and parking assistance with automatic braking.
For Bangladesh, my choice would be Hybrid XLE FWD if fuel economy and value are priorities.
Choose AWD if road conditions, traction or resale preference justify it.
Choose Limited if you want the Grand Highlander to feel properly luxurious.
And if someone offers you a Hybrid MAX instead, remember: that is a completely different animal.
The normal 2.5L Hybrid is the sensible one.
That is precisely why it is probably the best one.
