What is the Toyota Fielder (2006-2012) price in Bangladesh?

Toyota Fielder 2006–2012 price in Bangladesh is roughly Tk 11.5 lakh to Tk 17 lakh in the current used market. Prices depend heavily on model year, registration year, mileage, grade, accident history and overall condition.

Is Toyota Fielder 2006–2012 a good car to buy in Bangladesh?

Yes. For a buyer wanting a reliable Japanese used car with good mileage, spacious cargo capacity and affordable maintenance, the Fielder remains a sensible choice. It is particularly useful for families and owners who value practicality more than modern technology.

What is the Toyota Fielder 2006–2012 performance?

The popular 1.5L 1NZ-FE produces around 110 hp and 140 Nm in the FWD configuration. With the CVT automatic, 0–100 km/h takes roughly 10.5–11.5 seconds. It is not a performance wagon, but the engine is adequate for Dhaka traffic and normal highway driving. Toyota specifies ventilated front discs and rear drum brakes, with ABS and Brake Assist available as factory safety equipment.

How much mileage does Toyota Fielder 1.5 give in Bangladesh?

A realistic Bangladesh expectation for a healthy 1.5L Fielder is approximately 8–10 km/L in heavy city traffic, 13–16 km/L on highways and 11–13 km/L combined. Dhaka congestion, long idling, aggressive acceleration, air-conditioning use and vehicle condition can push city mileage below these figures.

Which Toyota Fielder grade is best?

For most Bangladesh buyers, 1.5X G Edition is a good balance between price and equipment. The standard 1.5X is better for buyers prioritising affordability, while Aero Tourer suits buyers wanting a sportier appearance and additional equipment. The 1.8L versions offer stronger performance, while 4WD versions are useful where additional traction matters.

What transmission does the Toyota Fielder 1.5 X use?

It uses a automatic transmission and the engine size is 1,500 cc.

Is Toyota Fielder good for family use?

Yes. This is arguably where the Fielder makes the most sense. Its five-seat cabin, wagon body, folding rear seats and large luggage area make it considerably more practical than many conventional compact sedans. For Bangladesh families carrying luggage, shopping or travelling outside Dhaka, the wagon body is genuinely useful.

Is Toyota Fielder suitable for Bangladesh roads?

Yes, the Toyota Fielder 1.5 X is suitable for normal Bangladesh roads, with its wagon body, FWD drivetrain and petrol power suited to everyday road use.

Is Toyota Fielder good for Dhaka city driving?

Yes, particularly the 1.5L FWD CVT. Its compact 1,695mm width and approximately 5.1m turning radius make it manageable in narrow streets and congested areas. The main limitation is the naturally aspirated 1.5L engine, which feels adequate rather than powerful when the car is heavily loaded and the AC is working hard.

Is Toyota Fielder petrol or octane, and what fuel should I use?

The Fielder is a petrol-powered car. The Japanese-market 1.5L 1NZ-FE was designed for regular unleaded petrol, while Bangladesh owners commonly refer to high-octane petrol as “octane.” A properly maintained petrol Fielder can run well on Bangladesh-market fuel, but the correct fuel choice should follow the specific engine's requirements and the car's condition.

What should I check before buying a used Toyota Fielder?

Check the engine, CVT, suspension, steering, AC, brakes, electrical system, chassis and body condition carefully. For Bangladesh-used examples, also check whether the car has been converted to CNG, accident-repaired, heavily modified or repeatedly repainted. Inspect the CVT for delayed engagement, juddering or abnormal noise and verify the actual mileage rather than relying only on the odometer.
